| The Level 1 Parkour Coach certificate is the minimum skill and knowledge level required for someone to teach the basics of parkour safely and accurately according to the British Parkour Coaching Association standard. |
| This involves introducing a student to the discipline, showing them how to practice safely and guiding them through the early stages of learning techniques and training methods. Beyond the basic level the focus of parkour training changes onto more individual-orientated training and the input of a coach moves away from direct teaching and the methods assessed by this qualification.
